Privacy, plainly stated.

When you join the Knowstitch waitlist, we collect your email address, whether you gave marketing consent, and the attribution value associated with the optional?source query parameter.

The source value is normalized before it is stored. The waitlist requires an affirmative consent choice before it accepts the signup.

Knowstitch stores the waitlist record in the app's Prisma-backed database. The record includes the email address, the normalized attribution source, and the marketing-consent trail associated with that signup.

We use this information to manage early access and send the updates you consented to receive. When marketing consent is given, the app also sends a confirmation email through Polsia's email proxy.

This policy describes the current app behavior. It does not make additional claims about retention periods or encryption beyond the services and flows described here.

Signed-in areas use better-auth session cookies to keep an authenticated session. Those cookies support account access and are not used to identify waitlist visitors.

The theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage so Knowstitch can remember whether you prefer light or dark mode. If analytics is enabled for a particular deployment, its optional visitor identifier, polsia_vid, may also be stored in local storage.

The current app does not add advertising cookies. If future code introduces new cookies or tracking technologies, this policy should be updated to describe them.

Knowstitch uses Polsia's email proxy to deliver the consented waitlist welcome email and related updates. The waitlist record itself is stored in the Knowstitch app database described above.

Stripe is not currently active in the Knowstitch app. If payment functionality is added in the future, the relevant payment data flows and Stripe's role will be covered in an updated version of this policy before that functionality is used.
